Stories of a Broken Sun

The sun is broken.

The heart of Gov, the four-in-one saviour, staggers through the sky. It drenches the starving lands in burning light, or plunges them into frozen night.

The deserts drown once-fertile lands in sand and dust.

All of this is our punishment for failing the covenant with the four-in-one, who saved us from the Emergency nearly 300 years ago.

Stories of a Broken Sun is an actual play anthology podcast. We use a variety of indie tabletop role playing game systems to explore an original science-fantasy world.

We start with a rough outline, and then improvise our stories from there. The characters’ choices and actions determine how the world turns. As a result, there are no sacred plot points or pre-determined endings; instead, we always play to find out what happens.
